History

Xavier University's Epitome is a digital media project created by four communication students in May 2017. This site provides free templates and study materials for public relations, advertising, digital media and communication studies specialists. All are welcome to download and print these materials. Mission

To cultivate a stronger communication community and enable students to focus their energy on innovation while creating a tool that serves as criteria for success through a collection of concepts that must be mastered before graduation.

Meet the Creators

 

Laura Forero ('17) is the marketing assistant at Education at Work and a Xavier University public relations, advertising, and digital media graduate with a minor in communication studies. She enjoys reading, writing, and following a good PR crisis unfold in modern day media.

Tommy Noe graduated in the Spring of 2017 as a double major in public relations and digital media. He is a Cincinnati native, and his favorite local spots are Skyline and Graeter's Ice Cream. Media guilty pleasures include looking at Instagram snowboarding and surfing posts and binge watching Netflix.

Corbin McLean is a graduate from Xavier University's class of 2017 with majors in public relations, digital media and classical humanities. Originally from Chicago, he enjoys Silver Ladle's Cincinnati-style chicken "chili" and the many spots on Covington's Mainstrasse. His media guilty pleasures include exploring Reddit and streaming movies.

Emily Linginfelter graduated as a public relations, digital media and advertising triple major with minors in media studies and communication arts in May 2017. Her Cincinnati favorites are Highland Coffee House and Germania Society's Christkindlmarkt. She also enjoys watching an absurd amount of Gilmore Girls reruns and reading Malcolm Gladwell books.

Ashley Hinck is an assistant professor in the Communication Department, teaching in the Digital Media Minor and Major. Her guilty pleasure is young adult novels with a strong, time-traveling female hero.
