2016 Ethicist in Residence - Ashlee Foltz, J.D., CCEP (Cintas)

The 2015-2016 Ethicist in Residence was Ashlee Foltz, the Chief Compliance Officer of Cintas Corporation.

"It was an honor to have been selected as the Ethicist in Residence, a unique role that leverages professional work experience to benefit student learning. While serving on the Ethics Advisory Board, I have been consistently impressed by the faculty's commitment to exploring values based leadership. Once I learned about this opportunity to support Xavier's efforts, I knew I wanted to take part!

The role provided me the opportunity to serve as a student resource, give a few presentations and accompany the group of MBA students to London and Paris to explore international business ethics with companies such as BP and L'Oreal. I was consistently impressed by the students' commitment to learning how to ethically conduct business and the challenges they may face as they continue to progress in their careers. I was struck by the students' sincerity and commitment to the pursuit of knowledge and their openness to exploring new ideas and cultures. It's a wonderful program---staffed by bright and caring professors and staff. I am grateful to have played a part in it."
