The exuberance of life

Last weekend's unusual confluence of Easter and Passover with Ramadan gave way to glorious spring weather in Cincinnati.

Birdsong, daffodils, and lawn chairs popped out across our shared campus.

Together they bring to mind the irrepressible exuberance of life.

For those observing today's conclusion of Passover, I wish you a joyous Pesach. For those anticipating Eid-al-fitr, I say Ramadan Mubarak. For those who celebrated Holy Week, I hope that you too found time to reflect on the mysteries of the Christian faith.

And for all of us, I hope that Xavier's Easter holiday occasioned just enough rest and rejuvenation to sustain you through these hectic final weeks of the academic year.
