Uncertainty

Uncertainty. Division. Mistrust. Fear. Hurt. Discord.At this moment, after so many months of uncertain moments, common ground may seem elusive, even impossible.
Red and blue? We can't even agree on facts.
I won't seek to console anyone, not yet. As our Ignatian tradition reminds us, our human condition includes periods of desolation.
Some of you, you've told me, are experiencing that now.
I encourage you to seek support, to support one another, and together to support our students.
And I commend to you the E/RS event next Monday, when Heather McGee and members from our community will imagine Common ground in an age of Discord.
