Cancellation, Refund & Inclement Weather Policy
CAREER FAIR CANCELLATIONS
Should your organization need to cancel or make adjustments to your invoice (add or cancel items such as electricity, additional representatives, additional tables, etc.), please notify Victoria Vogelgesang via email 10 business days pre-event. After this date, invoices are final and payment is due by the career fair date.

CAREER FAIR PAYMENT
All career fair payments are due by the date of the fair. Payment may be made by credit card through your organization’s Handshake account, or by mailing a check (payable to Xavier University) to the following address:

REFUNDS
If you must cancel your registration after payment is made, a full refund will be provided if requested via email by 5:00 PM (EST) 10 business days prior to the event. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded.
LATE PAYMENT PENALTIES
- Unpaid registrations will be charged a $25 late payment penalty the day after the career fair.
- Organizations with outstanding fees 30 days post-career fair will not be permitted to attend future career fairs until their account is paid in full.
NO SHOWS
Registered organizations that no-show for a career fair are expected to pay their registration fees in full. Organizations with outstanding fees 30 days post-career fair will not be permitted to attend future career fairs until their account is paid in full.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
If Xavier University is closed the day of the career fair due to inclement weather, Career Development staff will assess the situation and make a decision by 8:00 AM on the day of the event. Registrants and representatives will be notified via email and an announcement will appear on the front page of the Career Development website (www.xavier.edu/career) if the event is impacted by inclement weather. Please ensure all representative names and email addresses are provided with your event registration to ensure all are informed should this occur.
If the career fair is cancelled due to inclement weather, every effort will be made to reschedule. Those employers able to participate in the new date will have their registrations transferred. Any organizations unable to participate in the new date will receive refunds if Career Development is notified by the deadline communicated with the rescheduled event information.
