Dr. Nancy Matre
Senior Teaching Professor
An adjunct since 2000 and a full-time instructor since 2007, Nancy Matre teaches Anatomy and Physiology, Functional Neuroscience, Neurobiology, and biology for non-majors. Dr. Matre serves as an evaluator for the St. Francis Xavier Scholarship, a participant in Manresa, and an administrator for exams for the Science Olympiad. She is a recipient of the Student Athlete Faculty Appreciation Award and the Joan G. McDonald award. Nancy and her husband Dave have a grown son and daughter, and at home enjoy the company of three cats.
