March Gladness 2025
March Gladness is a 48-hour giving campaign that allows the Xavier students, faculty/ staff, alumni, and the rest of the community to support the area on campus they love most.
Donating will begin March 3rd and end March 4th, 2025.
The Annual Fund’s role for March Gladness is to provide a giving platform to different groups on campus to utilize as a way to fundraise for numerous different funds. The Annual Fund department promotes the overall campaign and incentivizes donors to participate; they do not promote specific groups or funds on campus. Your role for March Gladness is to support your favorite club, program, or initiative on campus. Donor challenges grant the most generous members of our Xavier Family the ability to incentivize giving to a specific March Gladness initiative by matching gifts up to a certain amount. Research has shown that donors are 84 percent more likely to donate when a matching gift is offered. This is one of the reasons why sponsoring a donor challenge is a great way to support what you care about the most at Xavier while encouraging others to do the same. Challenge gifts are used to motivate donors in a variety of ways. There is an overall prize for the campaign that reaches the highest numbers of donors, as well as are challenge dollars within each category. Additionally, there are campaign specific challenges funded by donors committed to a particular initiative.
