Welcome to Xavier! My name is Jack Hudson and I am an Admissions Counselor here at Xavier. I graduated from Xavier back in 2022 and am super excited to be back on campus and helping students find their home here!

Hometown
I moved all around growing up living in Cincinnati, OH; Minneapolis, MN; Greenville, NC; Tallahassee, FL; and West Lafayette, IN.

Favorite thing about Xavier
My favorite thing about Xavier, that I experienced as a student here, was definitely all of the people I met and the relationships I made. Nothing beats all of the friends and professors that I met while going here at Xavier and they are what truly made Xavier so much fun and a memorable place.

Favorite thing about Cincinnati
There is always something to do for everyone. Whether you are looking to go to a sports game, go to the theater, a museum, the zoo, try out a new restaurant or brewery, or even go on a hike. The possibilities in Cincinnati are truly endless and you never will find yourself looking very long for something exciting to get up to.

Best advice for seniors who are making their college decision
Don’t stress yourself out. There are countless people who are there for you to help you along the way. Having all these universities and random people reaching out to you can get stressful at times and it can feel like you aren’t sure what your next step is. Take time to really focus on yourself and figure out what it is that you truly want.
