Biography

Hi, my name is Erin and I am the Mid-Atlantic Regional Recruitment Director. I was born in Connecticut, but raised by a New Yorker (Yankees/Giants/Rangers). I am Jesuit educated, both for undergrad and graduate, and have been Jesuit-employed for 30 years. I love the opportunity to chat with families about the incredible benefits of a Jesuit education and the Jesuit network. I particularly enjoy being located on the East Coast, just outside of Baltimore, and being able to work with families to think about leaving the I-95 corridor when searching for the place to call home for the next four years.

Favorite thing about Xavier
The campus community — from the minute I arrive on campus I feel at home—and welcomed by the students, faculty, administrators and staff across campus!

Favorite thing about Cincinnati
I love the food scene, particular favorites when visiting: a Graeter’s milkshake (even available at the airport), dining on the riverfront (BBQ at Montgomery Inn Boathouse), and/or walking OTR and trying different spots.

Best advice for seniors who are making their college decision
Two things...

One practical: Read everything carefully that is sent to you from the schools you are seriously considering. 

One more philosophical: There are a lot of choices out there. Don’t over-stress... there is a fit for you out there (and hopefully you feel that fit is Xavier)!
