Biography

I grew up just outside of Wilmington, NC and I’m a beach gal all the way. I attended a small private high school in NC and then attended NC State University. While in college, I became involved early on in clubs and activities and sporting events and genuinely enjoyed every day of my college career. I am married to my awesome husband, a college professor, and we have 3 wonderful daughters, 3 great sons-in-law, and 3 precious grandchildren. I love to travel with all the family (especially on a cruise ship) and love spending lazy days on the beach!

Best advice for seniors who are making their college decision
This process can be overwhelming, but please enjoy the college search process. Take time to breathe and ask for help! Your admissions professionals are here to help you navigate the process and answer any questions that you might have. VISIT several times! Make sure that the ‘fit’ is the right ‘fit’ for you and again, ask questions along the way to staff, the faculty and the current students. We are all here to help you find your college home and to become an alum!
