Technology Services - Check Out Equipment

The Connection Center Desk has the following equipment available:

Laptops

Laptops utilize the library's wireless technology, are battery powered, and can be taken out of the library and CLC. A limited number of power cords also are available for checkout. All laptops are able to access the Internet and contain Microsoft Office applications.

Laptops circulate the entire duration of the CLC and Library buildings open hours, and are due back before the buildings close every evening. Overdue fines are $1 per hour for a maximum of 24 hours ($24) before you are charged for the replacement. The replacement cost of a lost or stolen laptop is $1,000. Patrons assume full responsibility for laptops that are checked out to them. Please do not leave laptops unattended. If a laptop is not functioning properly, please return it to the desk for assistance.
