Janice Steinberg Memorial Scholarship

Introduction

This need-based scholarship is available to students participating in Xavier-sponsored summer study abroad programs. In 2023, two to three scholarships of around $500 each will be awarded (depends on endowed fund performance).

• Note: Preference is given to first-time study abroad participants.

Eligibility

• Demonstrate financial need (submitted the 2022-2023 FAFSA)
• Be accepted into a Xavier-sponsored summer study abroad program
• Maintain cumulative 3.0 GPA
• Not be the recipient of any other study abroad scholarship (excluding federal financial aid)
• Have completed the online XU study abroad application in Studio Abroad
