Charles B. Rangel Graduate Fellowship
The Rangel Graduate Fellowship is a program that aims to attract and prepare outstanding young people for careers in the US Foreign Service in which they can help formulate, represent and implement US foreign policy. Each year, the program selects 30 outstanding Rangel Fellows in a highly competitive nationwide process and helps support them through two years of graduate study, internships and professional development activities, and entry into the Foreign Service. This program encourages the application of members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service and those with financial need. Fellows who successfully complete the program and Foreign Service entry requirements will become diplomats/US Foreign Service Officers with the US Department of State.
DAAD
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a publicly-funded independent organization of higher education institutions in Germany which provides scholarships for study in Germany.
Fulbright U.S. Student Program
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide. The program currently awards approximately 1,900 grants annually in all fields of study, and operates in more than 140 countries worldwide.
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or for English Teaching Assistant Programs. A candidate will submit a Statement of Grant Purpose defining activities to take place during one academic year in a participating country outside the U.S.

Rotary Foundation Global Scholarship Grants for Development
The Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship program offers scholarship funding through the Rotary Foundation Global Grants. The Global Grants provide scholarships to fund graduate-level coursework or research or its equivalent for a term of one to four academic years.
Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Fellowship
The Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship is funded by the US Department of State and administered by the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation. This fellowship provides funding for two-year master's degree programs. Fellows enter the US Department of State's Foreign Service for five years upon completion of their master's degree.
Whitaker International Fellows Program
The Whitaker International Program is a competitive grant that sends emerging leaders in biomedical engineering (or bioengineering) overseas to increase international collaboration in the field. Whitaker International Program grants are awarded based on an activity/project proposal that is relevant to biomedical engineering. We hope to offer at least 50 Fellow and Scholar grants annually; only the highest-quality applicants are awarded. We encourage all students/junior faculty who are considering a period of study or research abroad to apply.
Whitaker International Summer Program
This program is for currently enrolled Master's or PhD students, or recent Master's recipients in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Summer awards are for 8 weeks including a fixed fellowship award and a monthly stipend.
World Bank Robert S. McNamara Fellowship
This fellowship awards up to $25,000 for a 6-10 month period to travel to a host institution located in a World Bank member country to conduct development related to PhD research under the supervision of a research advisor. Upon completion of the program, McNamara fellows return to their home country for work.
United Nations Internship Program
UN internships are available at UN offices in New York, Geneva, Addis Ababa, Vienna, Nairobi, Beirut, Bangkok, and Santiago to master's degree and PhD candidates as well as students in their final year of undergraduate study. The objective of the United Nations Internship Program is to give students a first-hand impression of the day-to-day working environment in the United Nations.
USAID Donald M. Payne Fellowship
The Payne Fellowship Program plans awards fellowships valued at up to $45,000 annually for a two-year graduate program. The award includes up to $20,000 per year toward tuition and mandatory fees for completion of a two-year master's degree at a US institution; a $15,000 stipend for each academic year for room, board, books and other education-related expenses; and up to $10,000 per year in stipend, housing, transportation, and related expense for summer internships. After two years of study, Payne Fellows are expected to obtain a degree in international development or another area of relevance to work of the USAID Foreign Service. Fellows who successfully complete the program and entry requirements will become Foreign Service Officers with the US Agency for International Development.
