Visiting Professor - Sport Management & Marketing
Samu-El Fowler brings over 10 years of expertise in coaching, DEI, and leadership to his role as a Visiting Professor in the Sport Management program at Xavier University. He specializes in coaching, organizing events, developing programs, and providing mentorship to foster a sense of belonging and cultural understanding among individuals.
Samu-El earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Mount St. Joseph University (2014) and his Master of Education in Coaching Education and Athlete Development from Xavier University (2021). He also serves as the Head Track & Field coach at Northwest High School and is the Director of Operations & Community Initiatives for Build Your Own Dreams (BYOD), a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring future small business owners and tradesmen. As Chairman of the Cincinnati Delta Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., he leads the "Go to High School Go to College" program, inspiring youth to pursue higher education.
Outside of academia and community service, Samu-El enjoys staying active and values time spent with his wife, Chanel, and their three children: ZyAire, ZaRiah, and Samu-El Jr.
