Dominique Kropp, PhD
Teaching Professor
Program Director, Sport Management & Marketing, Graduate Sport Administration Programs
(She, Her, Hers)
Dr. Kropp received her doctoral degree in Sport Management from the University of Kansas in 2020. Her passion for sports stems from her background. On her father’s side, she comes from a family of athletes and coaches. Her mother, a native of Belgium, exposed her to other languages and cultures. While her identity has been shaped by a variety of influences, the connection with athletics has always been natural. Dr. Kropp has worked in intercollegiate athletics as a director of basketball operations, compliance coordinator, and student-athlete tutor. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in the Xavier Sport Management, Sport Marketing, and Sport Administration programs. Dr. Kropp’s research focuses on student-athlete experience and student-athlete academics. She is a passionate Xavier Musketeer and KU Jayhawk basketball fan as well as a Nebraska Cornhusker football fan. When she has free time, Dr. Kropp loves to attend and watch sporting events, cook, and spend time with friends and family.
