Jeremy Steeves
Associate Professor, Exercise Science
Dr. Steeves has enjoyed the opportunity to teach a variety of courses across the exercise science curriculum including Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Human Health and Wellness, Research Methods in Physical Activity, Physical Activity and Chronic Disease, Physical Education and Recreation for Special Populations, and Exercise Testing for Fitness Assessment and Exercise Prescription. He earned a Certificate in Effective Instruction from the Association of College and University Educators and is a League of American Bicyclist Certified Cycling Instructor.
Dr. Steeves research interests include improving the measurement of physical activity, physical activity epidemiology, and testing novel physical activity interventions.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, such as running road or trail races with his wife and children, and he is passionate about cycling and cycling advocacy.
