Physical Plant does not perform central receiving functions for Xavier University. Departments should make arrangements for suppliers to deliver directly to them. However, from time-to-time, with prior approval, the Physical Plant stockroom can provide services to other campus departments in the form of receiving materials to be installed at a future date or receiving and storing large quantities of an item used throughout the year that cannot be stored in the department's own area.
