Maureen Hickey Haitch

Adjunct Faculty, Chamber Orchestra

Maureen Hickey Haitch ("hey-ch", she/her) is a conductor and violinist born and based in Cincinnati, OH. In addition to directing Xavier University's Chamber Orchestra, Maureen currently serves as Conductor for Dayton Philharmonic Youth Strings and Cover Conductor for the Cincinnati Community Orchestra, where she plays viola. Maureen plays violin with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra (IN) and enjoys performing in chamber groups and orchestras across the Tri-State area. She also works as the Production and Marketing Manager for Summermusik (Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra), which includes acting as librarian and assisting with artistic planning. 

Maureen earned dual Master's degrees in Orchestral Conducting and Violin Performance from Ball State University in Muncie, IN, as well as a BM in Violin from Miami University of Ohio.
