Music Production Concentration
Students in the Music Production concentration receive comprehensive training in contemporary recording and music production techniques, live sound, and sound for film and television. Students prepare for a career in music with foundational training in music theory, aural skills, and keyboard skills, as well as a vital overview of Western music history. Individualized study may include private instruction in voice and/or instruments, as well as songwriting and composition. A professional internship provides seniors with work experience directly related to their field of interest.
Admission to the Music Production concentration and scholarship consideration is by competitive audition.

Additional Requirements:
- Enroll in MUSC 199 - Recital Attendance for 6 semesters
- Pass applied music exam at the end of each semester of private lessons.
- Perform on recital each semester of private lessons.
- Maintain a 2.0 cumulative average in music courses.
