031 What is Cosmic Education - A Teacher's Perspective

In this episode we talk with a Montessori teacher about Cosmic Education, what it is, and how it is taught.

Guest: Laura Opfer

Laura has been privileged to learn and work with children in Montessori classrooms since 2000. She received her M.Ed. in Montessori Education from Xavier and holds an AMS Elementary ! teaching credential and an Early Childhood (P-3) Ohio teaching license. For the past eight years, she has enjoyed serving as both the head lower elementary teacher and as a teaching professor for Xavier’s adult students. Laura has taught Montessori math and geometry methods and Montessori cultural methods courses, as well as supervising and mentoring interns and field experience students. In addition, Laura has presented several professional workshops both locally and nationally and is a board member of the Cincinnati Montessori Society.
