Mailing Services

WELCOME TO THE MAIL CENTER

package-containers2.jpg

As seen in the photo above, Mailing Services receives an extremely high volume of packages at the beginning of the school year.

  • Groceries and food deliveries are NOT ACCEPTED at the mail center. Students must personally accept groceries and food directly from the delivery service. For example, Amazon Fresh, Walmart/Kroger groceries must be delivered to and received by the student.
  • Students must present their Xavier One Pass (Student ID) to claim packages or mail.
  • Packages will not be ready for pickup when you receive the carrier's delivery notice. Packages and mail will only be available once you have received an email from the Mail Center saying your item has been checked into our system.  You will be turned away until you receive that notice.
  • Any mail or packages unclaimed after two weeks may be returned to the sender.
  • Packages or mail may only be claimed by the named recipient (for example, a student's roommate or friend cannot pick up any mail or packages for that student).
  • The Mail Center is responsible for distributing intercampus mail, metering outgoing USPS mail, and delivering mail to on-campus departments.
As a part of Auxiliary Services, we take pride in delivering excellent customer service to our students, faculty, and staff!

Any mail dropped off after 2:00 p.m. is NOT guaranteed to be sent out on the same day.
