As we prepare for this exciting new chapter transitioning to the Xavier Unversity Lab School, please keep in mind the timeline and important dates below. 

June-October

Analysis of XUMLS, meetings with administration, parent focus groups and survey. 

November 

Decision to broaden XUMLS to XULS was made and transition work begins. 

December 

Principal's position to be posted. Information meetings to provide feedback on qualities of an effective principal. 

January 

Principal interview process begins. Interview Team will include School of Education, XULS PArents, and College of Profesional Sciences. 

XULS Parents apply for EdChoice. 

Teacher positions to be posted. 

February

Principal selection and announcement. 

Principal meet and greet with XULS families. 

March

Principal begins interviews for classroom teachers. 

Student tours for XULS. 

April-May 

Teachers are hired. Curriculum and Assessment development processes.
