Ms. Jennifer Tighe

Jennifer Tighe is a lifelong learner. She enjoys teaching and learning in a variety of genres within the discipline of communication studies such as oral communication, interpersonal communication, group dynamics, conflict management, and presentational speaking.

She is also very curious about the practice of teaching (pedagogy) and studies the way students and faculty engage with each other in face-to-face and mediated learning environments.

She gets most excited for community-engaged learning opportunities - students and community partners working together to address critical issues we face in our society. She is an advocate for an inclusive Xavier Community and when she is not in class she can be found in her community garden.
