Jack Scott
My name is Jack Scott and I am a 1982 graduate of Xavier University with degrees in the HAB Program and History. I am also a 1985 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
I am currently employed as the Managing Partner of Faulkner and Tepe LLP in Cincinnati, the same Firm which I joined upon graduation from law school. My practice includes many varied areas of law, including alternative dispute resolution which allows me in a mediation setting to seek conflict resolution by applying many of the analytical skills which I learned as a student in the HAB Program.
My wife Julie also holds an MBA degree from Xavier. We are the proud parents of two sons, both of whom have studied, and continue to study the classical languages. I am a member of St. Antoninus Parish in Cincinnati where I currently serve as the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 614 and formerly served for many years as a baseball manager, basketball coach, and volleyball coach. I currently serve as a Trustee of the Schott Memorial Association, which facilitates athletics at our Parish. I am also a Mock Trial Advisor at St. Xavier High School.
I wholeheartedly endorse the HAB program which challenges its students in a most unique manner, while exposing them to some of the greatest writers and philosophers in Western civilization history. I consider my decision to join the HAB Program to be one of my very best decisions which I have made.
In my spare time, I enjoy golf, skiing and, of course, Xavier basketball.
