Browne Awarded Research Fellowship

Randy Browne, associate professor of history, has been awarded a Long-Term Fellowship from The Huntington Library in San Marino, California.  As the Fletcher Jones Foundation Fellow for 2020-2021, Browne will work on his new book project, “Devil’s Bargain: Slave Drivers in the British Caribbean.”  The Huntington is one of the world's leading independent research centers for the humanities and its fellowships are highly competitive.
