How to teach Ignatian... on a bike
September 19, 2019 |
In the face of ecological crisis, how might Jesuit education adapt--so that we can continue preparing young people for the world they will inhabit? This week Xavier faculty Kathleen Smythe, Anas Malik, and Nancy Bertaux hosted the 3rd annual Ignatian Pedagogy for Sustainability (IPS) Workshop to explore that question. They carried forward a multi-year conversation that will continue in March at the AJCU Climate Change Conference.
It's a great example of how the people of Jesuit universities collaborate.
