All Card FAQ
Q. What credentials do I need to get an ALL Card?
A. You must first have a valid picture ID (i.e., driver's license, state ID card, etc...) with you. Students must also present one of the following: a copy of current class registration or a copy of a recent Bursar's statement. Faculty and Staff members must submit either a temporary employment form furnished by the Human Resources department or a copy of their teaching contract.
Q. Will I need to renew or reactivate my ALL Card each year?
A. No, you are issued one ALL Card for the duration of your studies at Xavier.
Q. What should I do if I lose or break my Card?
A. You will want to deactivate your Card online immediately. This will then give you time to locate your Card while still ensuring that it cannot be used. If necessary, go to the ALL Card Center, located in Justice Hall, Mezzanine Level, to have a new card issued. There is a $20.00 fee to replace lost or personally damaged cards.
Q. How do I activate my X Cash account so that I can use my Card as cash on campus?
A. Simply make a deposit online. This will activate your X Cash account. Should you have any problems, please stop our office or call to speak to an ALL Card representative.
Q. What are Dining Dollars and where can I use them?
A. Dining Dollars are considered BONUS funds added to your meal plan for added variety and value. Dining Dollars are designed for food and beverage (excluding alcohol) purchasing at all on-campus dining locations including retail dining, Starbucks at University Station, Hoff Dining Commons, and convenience items at the Gallagher Bookstore. Unused Dining Dollars carry over from fall to spring semester but will expire at the end of the spring semester.
Q. What is the difference between Dining Dollars and X Cash?
A. X Cash is a separate, pre-paid flexible spending account intended for retail areas such as dining, mailing, library, vending, and parking. X Cash can be used for on campus merchandise as well as food.
Q. When do I need to use my U.S. Bank PIN# with my ALL Card?
A. You need your Personal Identification Number (PIN) or password when using your ALL Card to access your U.S. Bank checking account through ATMs or when purchasing from a retail location that accepts PIN-based debit transactions. If you have lost or forgotten your PIN, call U.S. Bank at 1-800-627-7827 or (513) 632-4141 or stop by the Xavier Branch office.
Q. Is there a difference between my U.S. Bank checking account and my Xavier University X Cash Account?
A. Yes! Your U.S. Bank checking account is a student checking account with U.S. Bank and can be accessed using your ALL Card in U.S. Bank Super ATMs and other bank ATMs or Point of Sale terminals at many grocery stores, convenience stores, and gas stations. Your X Cash is a pre-paid debit account for on-campus purchases. In both cases, you use the card to access your account, but they are indeed totally separate accounts.
Q. What is the difference between my U.S. Bank Visa Check Card and my ALL Card?
A. Your U.S. Bank Visa Check Card is an additional, convenient way to access your U.S. Bank checking account and does not take the place of your Xavier ALL Card. The U.S. Bank Visa Check Card allows you to access funds in your checking account anywhere credit cards are accepted. When you use your Visa Check Card, it works just like a credit card, BUT the funds come directly out of your U.S. Bank checking account.
Q. Can I request a refund of the balance of X Cash from my University ALL Card?
A. X Cash funds do not expire while a person is an active university community member. A student who is graduating or withdrawing from the university or a University employee who is separating employment may request a refund by completing this online form. *Note: Accounts with a balance of $25 or less will not be refunded.
