Xavier University and the Department of Art are pleased to present a Solo Thesis Exhibition - In Residence by senior art major Jenna Wood, February 16 - March 8, 2024. 

Wood’s exhibition explores the balance between artistic self-exploration and public perceptions utilizing an interior design aesthetic. The artist created over 120 artworks displayed in an apartment setting. Each work had an individual journey of taking a descriptor word suggested by family and friends and creating artwork based on that word. An explanation of her exhibition and an educational space will demonstrate her creative process.

In Residence displays how Wood has created a basis for her future artistic practice.
