Associate Provost for Academic Excellence

The Associate Provost for Academic Excellence (APAEx) provides support and resources for faculty development to enhance teaching and scholarly activity, including Faculty Development, the Center for Teaching Excellence, Instructional Design & Technology, Digital Media Services, Grant Services, Institutional Review Board, Center for Innovation, Eigel Center for Community Engaged Learning, the University Library, and University Assessment. This office also oversees the Adult and Professional Education at Xavier (APEX) program. Find more information about resources and events below.

Xavier University Teacher of the Year

For 2023-2024, a tenured professor and senior teaching professor will be selected as Teacher of the Year through a nomination and application process.
