Cohen Center is the home for hospital and health administration, art, nursing, social work and criminal justice. Its impressive art gallery hosts student art exhibitions, pieces created by faculty members, and collaborative efforts of Xavier and outside partnerships. It is located at 1658 Herald Ave.

The nucleus of biological studies at Xavier, the Albers Biology Building is named after William H. Albers, who, at the time, had requested anonymity with his pledged donation of $150,000. Located at 1548 Herald Ave., Albers houses the Department of Chemistry.
The Alumni Center, at 1507 Dana Ave., houses University Relations and related departments, including Alumni and Parent Relations, Human Resources, Development, Grant Services, Marketing and Printing Service, Community Building Institute, and Physical Plant.
Historically, Alter Hall has been the central classroom building for Xavier University. Nearly every Xavier student and faculty member has passed through Alter. It is a place for collaboration and discovery, supporting the core curriculum, enabling cross-disciplinary partnerships, and making visible Xavier's distinctive Honors Program.
The Xavier Armory is the core of military life and studies at Xavier. It is available for rental and its large drill floor can accommodate groups of up to 500.

Bellarmine Chapel serves as the home parish to hundreds of Catholics in Cincinnati as well as the Xavier community. With its humble beginnings in 1927 as the student chapel on the first floor of the Schmidt Library, the parish is named after the 17th-century Jesuit St. Robert Bellarmine. The Chapel is located at 3801 Ledgewood Ave.

Brockman Residence Hall has housed thousands of students as well as the campus television studio, often utilized by media communications majors. Dedicated in 1955 and named after Hubert F. Brockman, S.J., University president 1923 – 1931, Brockman Hall is a milestone in Xavier’s campus expansion history. Brockman Hall is located at 3837 Ledgewood Ave.
The Edward B. Brueggeman Center for Dialogue is dedicated to providing space and opportunity for dialogue about the critical issues of our age. The center is located at 3852 Victory Pkwy.
Buenger Residence Hall currently houses freshmen and sophomore honors students as well as some athletes. Named after long-time friends and supporters of the University, Clement and Ann Buenger, the residence hall helped Xavier to grow in enrollment in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Buenger Hall is located at 3848 Ledgewood Ave.
Home to Xavier's Mailing Services, Campus Services is the place to pick up and send packages and mail. The building also hosts some Information Technologies technology offices. It is located at 1630 Herald Ave.
The $46 million Cintas Center hosts Xavier men’s and women’s basketball games, women’s volleyball games, concerts, corporate and social events, conventions and trade shows. Opened in 2000 at 1624 Herald Ave., its 15,000 square feet can accommodate small gatherings or groups of up to 10,000.
The oldest locally owned coffee house in Cincinnati, Coffee Emporium has been brewing since 1973 and at Xavier since 2007. It is located in the main lobby.
The Commons Apartments, at 1655 Herald Ave., offers housing to 274 junior and senior residents in enclosed three- and four-bedroom apartments, with two full bathrooms and a kitchenette. The Commons is also home to President Michael Graham, S.J., who interacts frequently with the student residents.
The technology-rich Conaton Learning Commons features a digital-media lab, 200-seat auditorium, academic labs, collaborative-study rooms, gallery and performance space, the Center for Teaching Excellence and the Center for Student Excellence.

The former Alumni Hall, Edgecliff Hall was renovated and dedicated in 2000 in honor of Edgecliff College and its graduates. It is located at 1512 Herald Ave.
Home to the Department of Psychology, Elet Hall is named after St. Xavier College’s first president and Jesuit pioneer, John A. Elet, S.J. It was erected in 1924 primarily to attract and board out-of-town students to the Avondale campus.

Hayden Field hosts games and practice for the Xavier men’s baseball team. It is adjacent to the O’Connor Sports Center.

Justice hall is a new residence hall that will accommodate 525 students in suite-style living, and includes a dining hall - the Hoff Dining Commons, with a seating capacity of 800. The 240,000-square-foot complex opened in fall 2011.
Kuhlman Residence Hall is the largest hall with approximately 440 residents. All rooms are suite style rooms connected by a full bathroom. Kuhlman is located next to the Cintas Center. Substance Free living is available upon demand. It is located at 3824 Ledgewood Ave.
The Lindner Family Physics classroom building, dedicated in 1991, is famous for its rooftop observatory and its Foucault pendulum, a free-swinging pendulum that seems to rotate 10 degrees every hour, but doesn’t due to the Earth’s counterclockwise rotation. Is is devoted to the Department of Physics at 1558 Herald Ave.
Utilized primarily as a science facility, Logan Hall at 1600 Herald Ave. has a depository of scientific materials that buried outside the building in 1953 to be uncovered in 2053.It was built with the money bequeathed from Thomas J. Logan, former Cincinnati clothing manufacturer, and its construction after World War II revived campus.
The Manor House Apartments are located at 3855 Ledgewood Drive on the Residential Mall within a block of the Gallagher Student Center. There are 20 units that house 38 students.
The McDonald Memorial Library provides extensive academic collections as well as study, lounge, conference, and instruction space. It houses computer workstations, multimedia equipment, and connects to the Conaton Learning Commons on two floors. McDonald is located at 1535 Herald Ave.
The McGrath Health and Wellness Center, at 1714 Cleneay Ave., serves students with a staff certified in college health to provide nursing care, support, counseling and information about healthy living and nutrition.
The Musketeer Mezzanine is located within Fenwick Place and is home to the Office of Residence Life, Registrar, Bursar and Auxiliary Services.
Amenities at the O’Connor Sports Center include a six-lane, 25 meter indoor pool, three-court gymnasium, Hammer Strength room, Nautilus cardiovascular room, two racquetball/handball courts, fitness studio with classes, multi-purpose room, shower/locker rooms and recreational sports offices. The Schiff Family Conference Center is an annex of the Cintas Center used for University luncheons, major celebrations, conferences and lectures. It was made possible by Jack Schiff, one of the major donors to the Cintas Center.
Schmidt Hall, home to the Conaton Board Room, President’s Office and the comptroller’s office, hosts many speakers and visitors to the University. It’s named after Walter Seton Schmidt, who was heavily influential in the development of Xavier as a campus. It is located at 1518 Herald Ave.
The Schmidt Memorial Fieldhouse, at 1518 Herald Ave., features 3,000 seats, a college basketball floor and two volleyball courts. It has hosted the WWE, high school graduations, and high school and college basketball, volleyball and gymnastic games and tournaments.
Schott Hall houses the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid, a classroom and some faculty offices. Formerly the Schott Jesuit Residence, it was home to all Jesuit priests associated with Xavier until the 1980s. It is located at 1520 Herald Ave.
Smith Hall hosts the state-of-the-art Williams College of Business, and includes a trading room with instant access to real-world information, the Center for Applied Finance, the Cintas Center for Business Ethics and the Sedler Family Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Xavier’s ROTC program has offices in St. Barbara Hall at 3904 Winding Way.
The soccer field hosts games and practices for the men’s and women’s soccer teams, along with club sports such as the Ultimate Frisbee team and field hockey.

Six tennis courts next to the Victory Parkway Fields are available on a first-come, first-served basis except when reserved for Xavier team matches and special events. Each individual court is surrounded by a fence to encourage uninterrupted play.

The Village Apartments at 1409 Dana Ave., built in 1989, are home to 224 sophomores, juniors and seniors. Over the summer, students and visitors can rent an apartment there at an affordable rate.
