Cabell's Directories provides full-text directory information for business, education, psychology/psychiatry, and computer science/information systems journal publications. Each journal entry includes submission information (editor’s name, address, phone, fax, email, web address); publication guidelines (manuscript length, copies required, format, fees, style, computer submission); circulation data (reader type, frequency, number of subscribers, publisher, price); review information (type of reveiws, number of in-house and external reviewers, acceptance rate, time it takes to review, percent of invited articles, reviewers coments, publishing fees); manuscript topics included; and manuscript guidelines. CAMIO (Catalog of Art Museum Images) (XLinks) provides high-quality art images from around the world contributed and described by leading museums, all rights-cleared for educational use. Every work in CAMIO is represented by at least one high-resolution image and a description. Many have additional views of the work, sound, video and curatorial notes. It covers antiquity to the present, and includes photographs, prints, sculptures, paintings decorative arts, posters, utilitarian objects, and jewelry. This database supports not only art history, studio art and design programs but also provides a rich context for history, religion and other humanities disciplines. CAMIO fills the gap left by the end of operations of the Art Museum Image Consortium (AMICO). It is produced by AMICO and the user interface is provided by OCLC (Online Computer Library Center).

Cancer Subset of PubMed (mid 1950s-present; updated daily; RefWorks help; XLinks) worldwide cancer information in MEDLINE/PubMed from over 5,000 periodicals in medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, health care and preclinical sciences. Select the Cancer subject/subset. Users can also search the NLM Catalog for books and other materials. It is produced by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and the user interface is provided by the Entrez retrieval system of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).

Capital IQ (on-campus only database on the Trading Floor of Smith Hall, Williams College of Business) provides information on public and private companies worldwide, company financials, M&A/financing transactions, public offerings, corporate executives' and board of directors' compensation, news, filings, screening tools, chart builder, real-time market data, relationship tree, macroeconomic data, industry analyses, and investment research. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Standard & Poor's.

Caribbean Search (All full-text; RefWorks help; Tutorials; XLinks) is a multidisciplinary database that provides English-language information about the countries and people of the Caribbean region. It contains hundreds of Caribbean-focused full-text scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, reports, and reference books. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by EBSCO Publishing.

Catholic Periodical and Literature Index Online (1981 - present; some full-text; tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) contains more than 300,000 records and includes indexed citations to articles published in Roman Catholic periodicals, papal documents, church promulgations and books about the Catholic faith that are authored by Catholics and/or produced by Catholic publishers. It is produced by American Theological Library Association and the Catholic Library Association and the user interface is provided by EBSCO Publishing.

CCH IntelliConnect (formerly CCH Tax Research Network) covers tax news, research, preparation, accounting, audit, estate planning and practice management. It includes federal, state and international tax information. Search results can be limited by document type and jurisdiction. Document types include laws, regulations, IRS materials, agency materials and legislative documents. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Wolters Kluwer Business.

Central & Eastern European Academic Source (CEEAS) (All full-text; Tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) is a multidisciplinary and multilingual database. It provides hundreds of full-text publications covering business, economics, history, information sciences, law, library, linguistics, literature, medical sciences, political science, and sociology relating to this geographic region. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by EBSCO Publishing.

Chemical Abstracts (1907-present; updated daily) is a bibliographic database that covers all areas of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, and related sciences. It includes international journals, patents, patent families, technical reports, books, conference proceedings, and dissertations. It provides substance and subject indexing, including CAS Registry Numbers, and abstracts. It is produced by Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) and the user interface is provided by Scientific and Technical Information Network (STN). Contact the Chemistry Department chairman for the user name and password. This database is also available through SciFinder Scholar.

Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) (full-text reviews) is an acquisition, research and reference service that offers 900,000 MARC records and more than 130,000 reviews of children's books. Entries include book awards, prizes, and presence on best book and other reading lists. It permits direct ordering of children's books online.

Children's Technology Review (CTE) (1985-present; updated monthly; full-text reviews) provides access to 7,200 reviews published in the print and electronic versions of this journal. All interactive children's media including educational and entertainment CD-ROMs, children's video games, children's Internet sites and smart toys (toys with interactive electronic capabilities) are review by educational psychologists. CTE reviews media for children from birth to 15 years of age. Entries include the rating, publisher, publisher's website address and telphone number, copyright date, computer platform(s) that can be used, price, grade level, age range, educational objectives, purchase links, the review and the date of the review. Formerly titled, Children's Software & New Media Revue, it is produced by and the user interface is provided by Active Learning Associates, Inc. This subscription is limited to 1 concurrent user. Choice Reviews Online (1988-present; updated monthly; full-text reviews) provides access to reviews published in CHOICE. It is produced by the Association of College and Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association, and the user interface is provided by Network Synergy Corporation. This subscription is limited to 3 concurrent users.

CINAHL Plus (Cummulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) (1937-present; updated weekly; upgraded to include more full-text; tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) indexes over 3,024 nursing and allied health journals, with complete coverage of journals and publications from the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses' Association. It includes every US nursing journal published and covers nursing, biomedicine, consumer health, alternative/complementary medicine, health sciences librarianship, and 17 allied health disciplines, including occupational and physical therapy. It includes searchable cited references for more than 1,160 journals and provides full-text for hundreds of journals, plus legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials. It features Quick Lessons, Clinical Queries, and Evidence-Based Care Sheets. It is produced by CINAHL Information Systems and the user interface is provided by EBSCO Publishing. Evidence-Based Practice Tip: To limit search results to articles with some level of evidence: Type your search strategy in the textboxes provided. At your search results, click Search Options (in right menu). The Search Options window will open and in the Publication Type selectbox click Research. Select News-ProQuest Newspapers from the database drop-down list. The Cincinnati Enquirer is the only newspaper in this collection.

Cincinnati Enquirer Digital Microfilm (2010-forward; all full-text; updated quarterly) offers actual page images of this newspaper. This resource is best used if you know the year and month of a particular article. Users can scroll through page images and search within a particular year, month, and day. It is produced by the newspaper and the user interface is provided by ProQuest Digital Microfilm. Click Select and then the newspaper title.

Clase and Periodica (1975-present; some full-text; updated quarterly; RefWorks help) covers the social science, humanities, science and technology. It indexes 2,600 scholarly journals published in the Spanish, Portuguese, French and English languages. It includes publications from 24 different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as publications that focus on Pan-American issues. It includes articles, essays, book reviews, monographs, conference proceedings, technical reports, interviews and brief notes. It is produced by Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and the user interface is provided by OCLC (Online Computer Library Center).

Classical Music Library enables listening and learning at library and home computers. It includes around 15,000 recordings, along with program notes, composer biographies, and images cross-referenced to the recordings. It is produced by Classical International, Inc. and the user interface is provided by Alexander Street Press.

Cochrane Database (updated quarterly; systematic reviews full-text; RefWorks help; XLinks) contains systematic reviews providing high quality evidence for people providing and receiving care. It includes citations to controlled trials, effectiveness reviews, methodology register, economic evaluations of health care interventions, and healthcare technology assessments. It is produced by the Cochrane Library and the user interface is provided by Wiley InterScience. Evidence-Based Practice Tip: Click Advanced Search. Under Restrict Search by Product uncheck All of Cochrane and check either Cochrane Reviews or Clicnial Trials. All articles in this database should have some level of evidence.

Communication and Mass Media Complete (CMMC) (some from 1915-present; much full-text; tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) covers communications and mass media and indexes and abstracts over 400 journals and full-text for 200 of these journals. It incorporates CommSearch (produced by the National Communication Association) and Mass Media Articles Index (produced by Penn State). The user interface is provided by by EBSCO.

Compendex (1884-present; updated monthly; some full-text) indexes 2,600 international journals and includes journal articles, conference papers, conference proceedings, and technical reports. It covers engineering disciplines, materials science, solid state physics, superconductivity, energy, optics, air and water pollution, solid waste management, hazardous waste, road transportation, transportation safety, manufacturing, quality control, and engineering management. It includes the historical literature form 1884-1979. It is produced by Engineering Information Inc. and the user interface is provided by Engineering Village.

Computer Source (1985-present; much full-text; tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) provides researchers with the latest information and current trends in high technology. This database offers full text for nearly 300 publications, covering topics such as computer science, programming, artificial intelligence, cybernetics, information systems, robotics, and software. In addition, this database offers indexing and abstracts for nearly 450 publications. Leading general magazines are also provided including: eWeek, MacWorld, PC Magazine, PC World, etc. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by EBSCO Publishing.

Computers & Applied Sciences Complete (much full-text; tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) covers the spectrum of the applied sciences, including many engineering disciplines, computer theory & systems, and new technologies. It indexes and abstracts more than 1,300 academic journals, professional publications, and other reference sources from a diverse collection.
