Bates On-line: A Visual Guide to Physical Examination (streaming videos) was adapted from the popular film and print series by Barbara Bates. It covers 12 subject areas: abdomen; cardiovascular - neck vessels and heart; female genitalia, anus and rectum; male genitalia, rectum and hernias; neurologic - motor system and reflexes; nose, mouth, and neck; breasts and axillae; cardiovascular and peripheral vascular systems; head, eyes, and ears; musculoskeletal system; neurologic - cranial nerves and sensory system; and thorax and lungs. It is produced by Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins and the user interface is provided by FITNE. Flash or Quicktime players are required to view the videos. Bible in English, The (10^th-20^th Century; all full-text; XLinks) contains twenty-one versions of the Bible: thirteen complete Bibles, five editions of the New Testament, two editions of the Gospels, and William Tynsdale’s translations of the New Testament, Pentateuch, and Jonah. The editions were chosen specifically to meet the needs of scholars of English literature and history of the language, as well as those in biblical and theological studies. Protestant, Roman Catholic, and nonconformist editions of the Bible are all included to allow searching and comparison across different centuries and religious beliefs. Bibliography of American Literature (BAL) (American revolution-1930; all full-text; XLinks) provides nearly 40,000 records of the literary works of approximately 300 American writers. It lists every reprint and variant edition of an author's works, including obscure and fugitive appearances in anthologies, broadsides, and gift books. It also includes details on bindings and physical features of the editions. It originally appeared in print in nine volumes, published for the Bibliographical Society of America by Yale University Press between 1955 and 1991. All nine volumes are fully searchable together. It contains more than 80,000 citations for books, essays, journal articles, and government documents of the United States and Canada. It provides quick reference information on 900,00 people in the Complete Marquis Who's Who^®. It covers people throughout history, around the world and across all disciplines and subject areas. It includes full-text articles from more than 250 magazines and 20,000 images. Search for people by birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender. Biography Reference Bank (all full-text; XLinks; RefWorks help) combines the profiles in Wilson's Biographies Plus Illustrated and the journal coverage in Biography Index. It includes biographical profiles, recent and feature articles, interviews, essays, book reviews, performance reviews and criticisms, speeches, and obituaries. It covers over 500,000 people and includes over 36,000 images. Entries include a list of books by and about the individual. It is produced by H. W. Wilson and the user interface is provided by EBSCO.

Biological & Agricultural Index Plus (1983-present; Much full-text; Tutorials; RefWorks help; tutorials; XLinks) provides coverage of biological studies with a 40% focus on agriculture. It covers more than 380 publications and 200 podcasts from respected sources, including Boston's Museum of Science. Topics include agriculture, biology, environmental science, genetics, horticulture, physiology, veterinary medicine, and wildlife management. It is produced by H. W. Wilson and the user interface is provided by EBSCO Publishing.

BioMed Central (some full-text; RefWorks Help; XLinks) provides access to 100 online and print-based journals as well as Faculty of 1000, a literature evaluation service. All research articles and most other content are fully and rapidly peer-reviewed. The form of peer review is left to those responsible for the editorial control of participating journals. BIOSIS Citation Index (1969-present; RefWorks help; tutorial) is one of the databases included in Web of Knowledge. It contains life sciences, biomedical, pre-clinical, and experimental research. It includes methods and instrumentation, animal studies, proceedings, patents, and books. It includes and enhances BIOSIS Previews and replaces Biological Abstracts. Books in Print (full-text reviews; RefWorks help) complete, unbiased bibliographic information for over 5 million in-print, out-of-print, and forthcoming book, audio, and video titles. An online version of the highly regarded print title, it features over 30,000 full-text previews; 140,000 tables of contents; and over 700,000 reviews of titles by over 200,000 publishers. It also includes cover images, author biographies and annotations. Borror Laboratory of Bioacoustics Bird Sounds (XLinks) is a part of OhioLINK's Digital Resource Commons and contains about 30,000 recordings of over 1,000 species of animals. It includes over 10,000 digitized recordings of songbirds, primarily warblers, tanagers, and sparrows. Real Media Player or Real Media Alternative is required to play these recordings.
