Bates On-line: A Visual Guide to Physical Examination (streaming videos) was adapted from the popular film and print series by Barbara Bates. It covers 12 subject areas: abdomen; cardiovascular - neck vessels and heart; female genitalia, anus and rectum; male genitalia, rectum and hernias; neurologic - motor system and reflexes; nose, mouth, and neck; breasts and axillae; cardiovascular and peripheral vascular systems; head, eyes, and ears; musculoskeletal system; neurologic - cranial nerves and sensory system; and thorax and lungs. Bible in English, The (10th-20th Century; all full-text; XLinks) contains twenty-one versions of the Bible: thirteen complete Bibles, five editions of the New Testament, two editions of the Gospels, and William Tynsdale’s translations of the New Testament, Pentateuch, and Jonah. The editions were chosen specifically to meet the needs of scholars of English literature and history of the language, as well as those in biblical and theological studies. Protestant, Roman Catholic, and nonconformist editions of the Bible are all included to allow searching and comparison across different centuries and religious beliefs. Bibliography of American Literature (BAL) (American revolution-1930; all full-text; XLinks) provides nearly 40,000 records of the literary works of approximately 300 American writers. It lists every reprint and variant edition of an author's works, including obscure and fugitive appearances in anthologies, broadsides, and gift books. It also includes details on bindings and physical features of the editions. It originally appeared in print in nine volumes, published for the Bibliographical Society of America by Yale University Press between 1955 and 1991. All nine volumes are fully searchable together. Borror Laboratory of Bioacoustics Bird Sounds (XLinks) is a part of OhioLINK's Digital Resource Commons and contains about 30,000 recordings of over 1,000 species of animals.
