Turnitin.com is a plagiarism prevention and detection service which can be accessed directly or through Blackboard. If TurnItIn is used within Blackboard neither students or faculty need to set up an account. See these manuals for the Blackboard version of TurnItIn for students and faculty. If the direct, non-Blackboard version is used, both faculty and students need to set up a user profile to use this service.
