WHAT IS CANVAS?
Canvas is a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) that has consistently been rated highly for its student-centered model and the overall student experience. Canvas is recognized by faculty for its ease of use and its high-quality mobile user interface. Canvas is the LMS that faculty and students use at Xavier.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
To get started with Canvas, simply sign in here: canvas.xavier.edu (use your standard Xavier email address and password to login)
For Canvas training, please refer to the "Canvas Basics for Faculty" course under your Courses menu in Canvas. Canvas Basics is a self-guided training course that will teach you everything you need to know to get started using Canvas and to begin building your course.
HOW DO I GET HELP WITH CANVAS?
For Canvas support, feel free to take advantage of the 24 hours a day, 7 days a week phone and live chat support that all students and faculty members have with Canvas. You can reach a Canvas support specialist anytime at 855-778-9967, or live chat with them.
