Films for the Humanities and Sciences see Educational Films and Documentaries.

Films on Demand (XLinks) contains more than 5,500 educational films and 60,000 film segments that are available online in streaming video format. The videos cover a broad range of topics including art, business, social sciences, education, health, medicine, history, physical sciences, philosophy, religion, performing arts, English, language arts, geography, and psychology. Special collections represented include ABC, CBC, CNBC, NOVA, PBS, TED, NBC, BBC, Nightline, Scientific American Frontiers, Meridian, National Geographic, Frontline, National History Channel, American Experience, and more. Also included are archival films and newsreels. Each film has a description, a list of the film's segments with a brief description and links to the exact location in the film, a transcript which can be printed, links to related films in the collection, the ability to email and embed the video, and how to cite the video in MLA, APA, and Chicago citation styles. The entire film as well as the film's individual segments have stable links that can be embedded in course management systems such as Blackboard. Users can search by title or segment or browse by subject or special collection. Users need to create an account to make playlists and set favorites. It is compiled by and the user interface is provided by Films Media Group.

Film & Television Literature Index (FTLI) (more full-text; tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) is a comprehensive bibliographic database covering film & television theory, preservation & restoration, writing, production, cinematography, technical aspects, and reviews. It also includes over 24,000 celebrity and entertainment images provided by the Motion Picture & Television Archive and 32,500 full-text reviews dating back to 1914 provided by Variety Movie Reviews. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by EBSCO Publishing.

Food Science Source (Much full-text; Tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) contains over 1,000 food industry and market reports as well as thousands of articles, benchmarks, and best practices from trade and industry publications. Content covers topics such as agribusiness, food & beverage science, food sustainability, food packaging, food safety, food service, food shipping, food/culinary innovation, food-related product development, food in different countries/cultures, and nutrition. It includes images, tables, charts, and other graphical content. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by EBSCO Publishing.

Foreign Language Video Instruction (XLinks; formerly Foreign Language Database) is part of OhioLINK's Digital Resource Commons and contains a growing collection of foreign language videos in which native speakers elaborate on their culture, family, daily life, and more. Each video is accompanied by a description of its contents, the country of the speaker, and additional grammar and vocabulary notes. Videos are in QuickTime format. It is produced by the ViewPoints Project and the user interface is provided by OhioLINK.

Forestry Image Collection (XLinks) is part of OhioLINK's Digital Resource Commons. It contains a collection of forestry photos dating back to the early 20th century. Images portray trees, cultivation, care, and the effects of human activity. The photographs were taken in Ohio but other states and countries are also represented. It is produced by the Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station at the Ohio State University. The user interface is provided by OhioLINK.

Funk and Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia (all full-text; updated annually;RefWorks help; XLinks) provides over 25,000 entries that may be searched by subject or keywords within each entry. It is produced by Funk & Wagnalls and the user interface is provided by by EBSCO Publishing.
