Demographics Now (all full-text; data) allows users to analyze the demographic and market potential of any geographic area in the U.S. It creates summary, comparison, ranking and radius-based reports by geographic area. Summary reports contain multiple user-defined variables for a single geographic area; comparison reports offer side-by-side comparisons of up to 16 geographic areas; ranking reports rank multiple geographic areas by the performance of specific user-defined variables such as gender, income, employment, housing value or household composition; radius reports makes it possible to summarize the entire area of a given radius or to compare multiple radii. Reports can be emailed or printed as an HTML page or PDF file. It also generates interactive and radius-based maps. It is produced by Thomson Gale and the user interface by SRC. Derwent Innovations Index (1963-present; RefWorks Help; tutorial) is one of the databases included in Web of Knowledge. Click Select a Database to search this database separately. It includes value-added patent information from Derwent (1963-present) as well as patent citation information from the Patents Citation Index (1973-present). There are separate sections for chemical, electrical, and engineering patents, all covering 1963-present. Click Sign In to save searches and receive search history and citation alerts. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Thomson Reuters.

Digital Media Center (DMC) renamed Digital Resource Commons.

Digital Resource Commons (DRC) (XLinks; Formerly the Digital Media Center or DMC) has been moved to a new platform with new links, some minor title changes, and new communities and collections. The DRC now includes the collections listed below. This list also includes previous collections which were removed but are still available as separate databases with new links. Much of the content was created by individuals and institutions in the State of Ohio and the user interface is provided by OhioLINK.

Digital Space @ Xavier is an institutional repository for all Xavier University scholarly communication, creative pedagogical works and historical materials. It enables Xavier University faculty, staff, and students to make their work accessible to the world at a stable URL, and with the assurance they will be preserved over the long term. Contributors need to fill out the Submission Permission Form before their work can be added to Digital Space @ Xavier. This resource is an important tool in advancing scholarly communication, promoting creative pedagogy and preserving the historical legacy of Xavier University. Digital Space @ Xavier is a service provided by the University Library under the auspices of the Division of Information Technologies.

Digital Video Collection renamed Educational Films and Documentaries.

DineHealthy (campus only database) permits the user to set up a profile consisting of their date of birth, gender, height, actual and desired weight, activity level and medical diet based on health problems. After entering this information the user's maximum caloric intake is determined. Users can determine caloric content of hundreds of different foods and beverages, including fast food, restaurant food, frozen foods and pre-packaged food. Access from My Computer; select Vol 1 Apps (the P drive on most computers); click the DineHealthy folder; and then click DineHealth.exe.

Directory of Open Access Journals (all full-text) contains over 700 multidisciplinary, scholarly full-text journals that use a funding model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access. Journals included must exercise peer-review or editorial quality control and report primary results of research or overviews of research results to a scholarly community. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Lunds Universitets Bibliotek.

Dolphin Embryo Microscopic Slides (XLinks) is part of OhioLINK's Digital Resource Commons. It contains scanned images of histological sections captured using a digital camera connected to a microscope. The collection consists of many sections per single embryo. Each embryo is identified by a name, such as LACM 94674. A section number follows the name, e.g. LACM 94674-100 is section 100. The specimens are examples of Pantropical Spotted Dolphin (Stenella attenuata) and were made available by the Los Angeles County Museum. It is produced by the Digital Library of Dolphin Development at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM). The user interface is provided by OhioLINK.

Drama Group Collections (all full-text; XLinks) provides searching across three subcollections: American Drama, English Prose Drama and English Verse Drama. It is produced by ProQuest/Chadwyck-Healey and the user interface is provided by OhioLINK.
